Helly Hansen Australia and New Zealand - Warranty Support for Customers Now Overseas


For customers who purchased from hellyhansen.com.au, hellyhansen.co.nz, or an official Helly Hansen retail location in Australia or New Zealand, and now reside outside the region.


SECTION: WARRANTY LIMITATIONS IF YOU’RE NOW OVERSEAS

If you originally purchased your item from hellyhansen.com.au, hellyhansen.co.nz, or from an official Helly Hansen retail location in Australia or New Zealand, and you are now living overseas, Helly Hansen Australia and New Zealand are not able to directly process warranty replacements or repairs across borders.

This means we generally cannot:

  • Ship replacement items outside Australia or New Zealand

  • Accept returns for repair from overseas (unless pre-approved)

  • Process repairs from locations outside our region


OUR GLOBAL SUPPORT NETWORK

Helly Hansen has a global customer care network. If your item was purchased from:

  • hellyhansen.com.au or hellyhansen.co.nz

  • hellyhansen.com

  • An official Helly Hansen retail store in AU or NZ

...and you now live in another country, we recommend you contact Helly Hansen Global or the local Helly Hansen Customer Care team in your country of residence. They will be best placed to assist you with your warranty claim, and they will work to validate your original purchase and provide local service where available.


WHAT IS OUR WARRANTY POLICY?

Helly Hansen stands behind the quality of every product. Our global warranty policy states:

“All Helly Hansen garments and footwear are warranted to the original owner against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Should any product fail due to a manufacturing defect within two years for apparel (one year for footwear) from the purchase date, we will repair it without charge or replace it at our discretion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, negligence, improper care, or normal wear and tear.”

If you are currently outside Australia or New Zealand:

When contacting the global support team, include:

  • The country you're now residing in

  • Proof of purchase from hellyhansen.com.au, hellyhansen.co.nz, or a retail store in AU/NZ

  • Details of the warranty concern


ALTERNATIVE – RETURNING THE ITEM TO AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND (AT YOUR COST)

If you're willing to return the product to Helly Hansen Australia or New Zealand, we may be able to pre-approve a refund under the warranty policy.

To begin this process:

  1. Email [email protected] with:

    • Proof of purchase

    • Photos of the defect

    • Photo of the swing tag or internal size label

    • Parcel barcode (if available)

    • Any relevant care or product usage details (optional)

  2. Our warranty team will review your claim. If approved, we will:

    • Provide you with return instructions and a local return address

    • Process your refund to the original payment method once the item has been received and inspected

Important: Refunds cannot be issued until the product has arrived and been assessed at our facility in Australia or New Zealand.
